As the first in Denmark Norgaard Engineering offers Glow Wire Test up to 960 °C.
Different (composit) materials has different flammability. To test the specific material characteristics regarding fire, EU has adopted a standard, describing this test method:
A Nickel-Chrome thread, Ø4,0 mm., with the shown shape, is heated up to defined temperature, then a sample of the material is moved towards the glow wire tip with a force on 1 N. for 30 sec. After that the material is removed from the glow wire tip and is observed for 30 sec.
Test stand build according to DS/EN 60695-2-10. Calibrated temperature measurement up to 960 °C. Current drag appr. 180 A.
Professional test stand developed according to DS/EN 60695-2-10:
- NiCr-thread (80/20), shaped according to the standard
- Calibrated continuous temperature measurement
