As the first in Denmark Norgaard Engineering offers Glow Wire Test up to 960 °C.
Different (composit) materials has different flammability. To test the specific material characteristics regarding fire, EU has adopted a standard, describing this test method:
A Nickel-Chrome thread, Ø4,0 mm., with the shown shape, is heated up to defined temperature, then a sample of the material is moved towards the glow wire tip with a force on 1 N. for 30 sec. After that the material is removed from the glow wire tip and is observed for 30 sec.
Test stand build according to DS/EN 60695-2-10. Calibrated temperature measurement up to 960 °C. Current drag appr. 180 A.
Norgaard Engineering offers battery diagnostics of lead acid batteries, accumulators, VRLA-batteries, AGM-batterier, plate-gel celler, etc.
New advanced tester tells fast and exact the "state of health" as well as "state of charge" of the battey:
The lifetime of a battey depends on more different factors, fx. ambient temperature. A change is costly, and has impact on the environment. So:
Change when necessary !
Independent test - We do not sell batteries.
Test report is printed On-site:
Applications:
Current / Voltage characteristic is clarified with load up to 1000 A. and seperate I/V-measurement:
Please contact Norgaard Engineering for further information or a noncommittal offer on your battery test..
Professional digital X-ray / radiography, where pictures easily are copied by USB, or send by e-mail.
Also On-site.
Even very small details can be seen in incapsulated items.
Applications with electronics:
All tests are executed with calibrated equipment, photography and professional test report are compiled.
A test is not necessarily "only" pass or fail. Often are unexpected behaviuor seen during a test. We endeavor to clarify the root cause to the phenomenon and come up with constructive proposals to improvements, fx. in cooperation with the customer.
You may also want to test with increasing levels, until an error occur. It can give valuable knowledge to the design and/or about reliability.
"The hot Glow Wire, is simulatin a short circuit wire. A sample of the material is forced against it with a force of 1 N. in 30 sec..."
